CommunityCAD exists to make good engineering design free to use. Quality CAD models, datasheets and peer validation shouldn't be locked behind paywalls or closed ecosystems. So we built a free, community-driven library of accurate, well-documented models, for anyone who designs, prints or builds things.
Most parts made from CommunityCAD come off a 3D printer, so the library shows how they print, too: print profiles and real prints shared by the people who printed them. With CommunityCAD for Klipper, you can send a model to your own printer, slice it there, and share the result back.

The tools behind it
CommunityCAD runs on open-source software, and our printer plugin, CommunityCAD for Klipper, is open source itself (Apache 2.0). The CommunityCAD website and service are not open source.
